On Component Sleep does not work for me

I was trying to make a working dice with this tutorial Unreal Engine 4 - Custom Rolling Dice - Part 2 (Maya, UE4!) - YouTube but for some reason my sleep event does not fire, anyone have any idea why it might happen?

as you can see i have print string blue print that should have shoot but its not


I know it’s been a while since this post but I found a solution as I was stuck on this too. I was following the video and had the same problem.
In the details panel in your static mesh component under physics, there’s an option called ‘Generate Wake Events’. I simply ticked this box and got it working for me. He never mentions it in the video.
