Ominous storm clouds

Hello all, Im trying to set up a dynamic skybox / sky sphere with some really ominous storm clouds. I want to have some that actually pass through where gameplay takes place. Would an of you have any reccomendations or starting points that might be able to help me out while using time of day settings etc?

look at trueskys, they are close to having a plugin available for ue4, we have been testing it on our own project

The tease is strong with this one. :slight_smile: Does anyone know how to freeze out a cascade sim? I havent got that far deep. I can make the sim happen and make it pretty, but if I can just freeze it off at a certain time point. I can use it as an assett. Any help there?

Once you get the look of your sky sorted, use a post-process effect and do colour grading. The warmth and lighting of a scene can be tweaked really easily this way, should add that convincing ominous feel to it, especially if you slowly ease it in over time.
