Old UEFN projects missing

I recently got a new PC and transferred my Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) setup. After signing in with my Epic Games account, I can see the names of my previous UEFN projects in the Project Browser, but when I open them, the islands appear empty — all of my previous work (landscape, props, devices, etc.) is missing.

I would like to know if there is any way to recover my original maps or files from Epic’s servers, especially if they were previously uploaded or synced with my account.

Hi Molon,

Have you been using Unreal Revision Control in your old projects?

Even if you did not set it to use URC when creating the project, if you still have access to your old PC you can open the projects, click ‘Revision Control’ in the lower right of screen and sync/upload it to the URC servers.

+1 to what @Astrotronic said. It sounds like you may never have checked in your projects to Unreal Revision control after the first, default snapshot.

Once you open them on your old machine, be sure to click “Check-In Changes” near the bottom right-hand corner of the editor window.

Please note: assuming you’re checking in large amounts of work on these projects for the first time, this may take some time.
