Good afternoon, is it possible to use an old library like the one from the 2019 version in the current versions? I ask, because there are objects in this version that have not been updated and have simply been removed from the library, such as vegetation species such as the “sago palm” that are widely used in landscaping. Thank you for listening.
hello, it is technically possible by saving them, and do a two step conversion by :
- opening them in 2020 to 2022 version first, saving them again
- opening them in latest version(s)
The only thing is that the sago palms you talk about won’t look the same at all (I did a few tries). It is probably due to different unreal engine versions among the twinmotion releases.
Perhaps it is best looking for specific species in the sketchfab section. Have you tried searching “sago palm” in sketchfab ? there are very decent models (better than the ones from 2019 version, I think).
The only problem is that it won’t have interactions with wind nor seasons.
