Old black and white horror movie

I’ve always loved old black and white horror movies so I was inspired create my own using UEFN. The post processing volume with a grain effect worked perfectly along with some downloaded skeleton models from Sketchfab. I wanted to go for a classic House on Haunted Hill feeling and I love the result!

Very moody! I love the way the portrait tilts before it falls off the wall.

Thanks!

this is a really nice & concise experience. I’m curious if the events are triggered by the player looking at certain things or by how close the player is to the objects? for example the skeleton that hides in the closet door - it seems perfectly timed for you to see just a glimpse of it happening

Thank you! I’m using mutator zones to trigger off the events. Player just walks into them then it activates the different devices.

I have a question how do change the lighting of the map to make seem darker?

In this I used a skydome, it was early in UEFN, and didn’t know how to fully use post-processing zones

Looks amazing. How did you get the sequence to play when hitting a certain area on your map?
