Hey I have been playing Fortnite scince release and I have just gotten back into it recently. However I have found it very disappointing that certain skins were only available in previous battlepasses at times I wasn’t able to play the game. It’s really getting on my nerves especially when compared to other live service games with battlepasses that allow you to purchase passes from previous seasons. I was just wondering if old battlepasses or battlepass skins would ever be made available for purchase again. I know of a lot of people who would be very willing to spend money on certain skins that are unavailable currently. I’m just wondering if this is a feature that would ever be added to the game.
It is very unfortunate that all previous Fortnite battle passes are unavailable, more of which is what makes the game what it is. Imagine this: you expended a lot of time or effort into acquiring a cosmetic that you have during that season. Releasing the items later would make the entire experience feel dull. Every season or update, something different comes out. If you bring things back from prior seasons, it would just take away from what’s new about it. It would be very nice to purchase any preceding battle passes or cosmetics from the shop, but it would not necessarily benefit you in any way. In conclusion, it’s better to enjoy the game each season, moreover you wouldn’t have to look at cash grabs or sell outs every day of the week.

I don’t really think that’s fair though for the new players coming into the game. New players are missing out on all these skins/cosmetics just due to them not playing at that time. It shouldn’t take the new feeling or anything away from the seasons that are new because, well, they are new.
I just started playing the end of last season and I’m devastated that there a dozens and dozens of skins I’ll NEVER be able to get. I understand people wanting exclusivity for certain things but it’s also useless when there’s no trading, or selling accounts, skins, back blings, etc. If they bring battle passes back, they should add new versions of skins along side OG versions for players who already have them. Like the quest rewards, I don’t know if they had those then but they could do something like that.
Theres just no legitimate reason to not bring battle pass skins back. I’ve felt “late to the game” due to this and question if i want to play. It makes it very depressing I can’t play the characters I want.

I agree that it is very frustrating that just because i didnt start playing fortnite till ch. 2 season 7. I cant get any of the amazing characters or skins that came out before that. The amount of people that would gladly pay to have some of these characters come back to the item shop is a definite win and smart business move for several reasons. Its lessens the chances of account selling, OG players get something exclusive to them, brings in new people knowing they can play as their favorite characters or collabs while also getting others back online who perhaps stooped playing because they cant ever use a particular character, the profit that is to be made from bringing them back and the amount of people who would get them.
Hi, I don’t know how much you all pay attention to reddit. But with the conversations its been a common thing where people would like to be able to get skins that are not available to them anymore. You get new players all the time and its super discouraging to some to not have the opportunity to get past skins in previous battle passes/previous seasons.
