Offset where torque is applied on a mesh

I am creating a boat and have got it moving in water but using the logic below it steers around its centre point. I would like it to pivot/steer around a point about 6 meters further forward as in the second image;

I have tried various ways that I have found searching but cannot get any of them to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Was as simple as adding a multiplied force offset by the location in the model as per the image below
