Offset Imported FBX Camera

Hi Guys!

I just imported a FBX camera (via sequencer), which I need to offset to a different position in the set.
I just made the camera child of another object and offseted the parent. which looked great until I hit render in the sequencer. Then the camera went back to root, not being parented anymore.
Each time I drag and drop on the parent the camera repositions ok again, but when I try to render loses it again.

As a workarround I used a additive track inside Sequencer which works ok, but it’s quite a pain to animate because it’s not an object inside the scene. What’s the correct way to do it?
