Oculus Quest - How to Change default hands to controllers

(4.26) Added the oculus quest/rift controller models from the Engine Content to be able to hide in game the hand in the BP Motion Controller. I had to mirror it in Blender to get the Right Hand. Set this controller as the target for the Invert Scale (set to y = -1) and also to the Collision part of the Event Graph. The two controllers show up in the game but the material is funky on the Right Controller. It is shiny and transparent in places. The Left Controller is plain gray. What SHOULD I be doing? It’s a complicated VR level that I need to be able to put labels or a UI panel on the controllers to help users out. Advice and or suggestions appreciated…
