Ocean waves

How can I go about creating Ocean type waves in Twinmotion? I have tried using Spacewarps in 3dsMAX, but the fbx export doesn’t recognise the modifier in the stack. I’m not after great big surfing type waves, but gently rolling waves on a beach front. The materials in Twinmotion (Sea 01 and 02) dont seem to change the wave height and are more an illusion of movement - but I need to see the physical movement of the ocean against the slope of the beach.
