We are working on an action-horror game called Occult Chambers.
About the Game:
It’s a third-person, narrative game set in India where players follow protagonist, Dhruv, on his quest to find his missing father. Along the way, he uncovers a sinister world of occult rituals and fantastical creatures from deep Indian mythology. We received Epic Mega Grant in 2023.
Highlights:
Journey through India’s eerie environments, from shadowy jungles to mysterious ruins
Combat style using a magical staff that can be used for both close combat and spell casting for ranged combat
Bosses that are inspired from Indian Mythology
Ritualistic puzzles
The Story:
Dhruv has always been skeptical of the mythological stories he grew up listening to but when his father suddenly disappears and allegations surface that he has killed an entire village and performed bizarre occult rituals, Dhruv is forced to confront the possibility that these stories may be true. He sets out on a quest to find his father and uncover the truth. In this journey, he finds himself in abandoned forts and chambers filled with dark and terrifying occult activities. As he draws deeper into the mysteries of these ancient rituals, his own beliefs are put to the test as he fights to uncover the truth about his father and the world that he thought he knew!
