I’m using Cinema 4D with Live Link Sync, and TM 2025.2 Preview. After having spent time on setting up various translators for door, etc, I needed to re-sync the file because of some model changes, and I discovered that all the translators get detached from the objects. The translators are still embedded within the object hierachy, but won’t work unless the objects are attached again. This is very tedious with many translators. Is this a limitation of how the sync works, or is it possible to fix the current behaviour?

It is recommended that your C4D version should not be lower than 2025.3.2, as the new version of C4D has optimized synchronization plugins.
If you feel that your TM file and C4D file are not correct, you can execute the Ctrl+X or Ctrl+V commands in C4D, which is cut and paste, to resynchronize the entire file. However, in versions 2025.3.2 or above, you don’t need to worry, synchronization is almost problem free.
Other current issues: The texture file must be in English or numbers. If the C4D file has not been saved, a blank file will be synchronized. Please save the C4D file at least once. The modification of material properties in C4D will not be refreshed. If you want to modify a material in C4D, please create or take responsibility for the material and then modify it. Finally, press alt and drag it onto the original material ball to replace it
Please forgive the issue of inaccurate translation. Best regards
thanks, Chief. I’m using C4D 2025.3.3. Everything has been working fine - perfectly I would say… except this little glitch with the animators detaching from the objects. Can you please confirm that the intended behavior is that they should NOT do so, and that is how your experience has been?. I’m a little hesitant to do the copy+x/v because I’m worried of messing up my file (I’ve never tried it before) - if you can confirm that animators should maintain attachment I will try it
