Object spawn restriction

I recently found out that SpawnProp has a limitation.

“#More props have been spawned than are permitted by the island’s rules (currently 100 per script device and 200 total per island).”

But during testing, it turned out that one device can serve up to 5000 objects, is this a bug or the number of objects for spawning has been changed? Will there be a bug when publishing the island?

If I recall correctly they secretly upped the limit many updates ago. I dont think it was officially said anywhere though.
