In Blender and Maya, you can quickly define the axis along which the selected object should move by moving the mouse in the direction of the axis without having to click on a gizmo or a button to define an axis:
In Unreal you can also work without Gizmo, but only to a limited extent. You can only hold down CTRL and then select an axis to move with a mouse click combination (Z is both mouse buttons, for example). This does not work properly when scaling.
But you cannot set the axis by moving the mouse as above in the gif. And you can’t deactivate an Axe without Gizmo, something that is also possible in Blender/Maya (In Blender you hold down shift and then press X,Y or Z to deactivate movement on that axe while moving)
Is there any way to enable such Blender/Maya movement in the settings, or perhaps in some other way using a plugin or similar?
