object cant be selected in scene

When I created a material using translucent blend mode using an opacity channel and a refraction channel
turns out that when its applied to the mesh / model I cant no longer selected it in the scene . I have to go to the list and select it through there.
seems there is a bug because when I apply a normal material or color I am able to selected it in the scene.
don’t know if its something within this particular scene that’s causing this.

any ideas? can this be a bug ?

Under Quick Settings you have to enable “Allow Translucent Selection”

or simply hit “t” …

**** ! wow , missed that ! thanks & President!! appreciate your reply on this! weird why you would have to enable this as an option . you figure all objects should be movable 100%. thanks again!

It is very useful when you have particle effects in the level that get in your way when you want to select something else.

If it doesn’t help you mke sure your level in Levels tab is not locked
