Object animation significantly wrong in Unreal

Hey there, I am doing a motion graphic style animation where i have a logo that starts at a small scale and then gets bigger and moves back and forth a bit then scales back down and moves out of the way. No bones just straight keyframe animation on this object.

When I import this into unreal with base settings, the scale and movement are way off like it gets like 20 times bigger and moves way farther than it does in maya( i am using centimeters in maya). When i import the fbx back into maya there is no problem with it and funny thing is on one iteration (before i messed with keyframing the scale of my object) of my animation everything worked perfectly in unreal but never again since.

I feel like I’ve tried everything but im sure theres something im doing wrong with the export or import process but cant figure it at the moment.
