NVIDIA Quadro K4000

I downloaded a trial version of CaptuiringReality and try to run on different machine but all the time when I click on ‘reconstruction tab’ and ‘normal detail’ button I get the message “your computer doesn’t have sufficient nvidia graphics card. Some features of RealityCapture software require NVIDIA graphics card with at least 1000mb memory and at least cuda 2.0 compute capability”

Now I try reconstruction on NVIDIA Quadro K4000 (seems to be ok) so I am wondering if that’s not a proper graphic card or it’s limitation of trial version of software and i can’t use trial licence on difference machine?

OS and hardware requirements

just check drivers for NVIDIA Quadro K4000.
I go to Device Manager, right click on my graphic card ‘Update Driver Software’ and it get message that drivers are up to date…
Quickly check drivers date:14/05/2013 ! yes 2013.

I manually find the newest drivers install them and now at least I am able to run Normal Details Reconstruction

I am having a similar problem with the same card, but sadly updating the driver to the latest has not cured the problem. Has anyone an alternate suggestion for a solution.

Thanks
JV

Hi john velnoweth
did you RESTART the PC after the driver update?

Thanks for the prompt reply.
Yes I have restarted the PC, but sadly still no joy the comment about not having an NVidia card still comes up.
Any help would be much appreciated as I am keen to get on and use the software, very impressive even with this slight problem.

Thanks
JV

Dear,
I have a Q, I know CR need Cuda in Nvidia, not run in AMD VGA but I want to know what VGA is better when CR run in Nvidia Quadro M4000 and Nvidia Geforce 980M?
Thank you!

Hi vudn54
The GTX 980 M is better than QuadroM4000, as it is clocked higher.
A quite simple comparison of the GPUs: http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Quadro-M4000M-v … e-GTX-980M
