Is this graphics card usable ? It is a Cuda enabled card

I keep getting error message saying to try and update my gpu driver.

Will the program work with a Quadro 4000? If yes, then can I install the program on the computer that has that using this same registration info ?

the Fx3800 is old card. already as legacy so hard to say how with the drivers. but it should work .

Q4000 is a bit newer but again it should work too.

Thank you for the quick response.

I get the program to open and it loads all the photos and aligns everything well. A sparse/normal cloud is generated.

When I click on reconstruction tab and normal detail button I get the message “your computer doesn’t have sufficient nvidia graphics card… some components of the software require a graphic card with cuda 2.0…”

The 3800 card is either 1.0 or 1.5 Cuda (I think).

Is there any way around this?

Can I switch the license over to the other computer with the quadro 4000 to try it there ? Or will it deny trying to transfer this onto another computer to try ?

have looked on the Nvidia page the card is discontinued, its very old card, not more new drivers that could support CUDA 2.0

For the license transfer, yes its possible to switch to other PC, can do that on our webpage when you log in and look under LICENSES there can switch to other PC.

For the GPUs we plan for 2016 to add support for all GPU, not limited for CUDA, so even AMD card will be supported.

I tried to install on the computer with the quadra 4000 but couldn’t activate.

I couldn’t figure out what I needed to do. There is no option to deactivate the license for the computer it was originally installed on.

I guess I’ll have to wait to try it when you open up use for computers that have legacy cards such as those I use. (I’m not prepared to buy new hardware to try something, especially since there is no indication yet of what your software will be priced at when it is released.

Will you have multiple pricing levels ?
I’m hoping you will be in line with the competitors $180 and $3000 prices. (I’m here because of your post on the PS forum)

Please let me know if there is a way to get this installed on my other PC to try it out.
