Numerous warnings caused by Niagara assets used by Fortnite occur when launching the project.

Quick tip here is that you can create your own custom scalability types, and you can even directly duplicate the standard one so you have a private version that isn’t impacted by updates that reset these scalability systems from default to none if they contain default.

To do this make sure that the default type is selected within a system, and then reopen the effect type selector and click Copy:

Go to your project file directory subfolder of choice and paste directly into that directory:

Rename your new Default Effect Type file to whatever you’d like and use that in your systems.
These can be further customized within the effects type themselves, and you will need to refer to UE documentation on specifics of what these different settings do, but by leaving it the way it is you have the default that you’re used to and it will be using a file location so won’t be interrupted by these updates in the future (if that is in fact what was going on here.)
