Nullify speed in x axis when turning corner

Basically in my game the character is going forward at a speed but when I turn corners and I am jumping the character doesnt apply the x axis speed to the new rotation, it keeps going forward in the previous axis until it reaches the ground. Would anyone be able to help me?

Yes, here it is. I have the turn nodes, the automatic forward nodes(this is an endless runner), and the corner check. Many thanks.

Thats where I got my initial nodes from, but when you jump the velocity is not nullified when turning corners, hence why I am asking this. Thanks anyway!
