NPC - Pressing E to hear dialogue.

Hello, I’ve searched the internet for this issue, but can’t seem to come across it.

I want to go up to a character I have in game, press a button and they say a line of dialogue. I dont want options to talk back just to hear the NPC speak when I press a button. Are there any tutorials out there for this?

This is a basic way in which you can get an NPC to speak a dialogue.

Can i use this for text to appear on screen as well? Would I just change “Choose the Sound”?

This is going to sound so dumb, but i can’t get “first person camera” on the drop down. It’s just not listed anywhere.
Sorry for being a noob at this, taking a long time for information to go in.

Edit: I’m using the third person character template.

Switch it out for the third person character camera then.
