NPC Character Definition/Guard Spawner Feature Request

Currently, when creating enemy AI in UEFN, we have to make a trade-off between customization and functionality:

  • NPC Character Definitions give you a lot of control of NPCs, including custom meshes and animations, but they lack essential functions/event tracking, such as:

    • Force Attack Target
    • On Damaged
    • On Suspicious etc.
  • Guard Spawners give you access to these functions/events and a lot more, but they only support Fortnite character models…

Could you please give us either:

  1. The ability to use custom meshes and animations with the Guard Spawner Device, or
  2. Add the same functions/events found in Guard Spawners but for the NPC Character Definitions.

Either one of them would be extremely useful to have.
