Notes from revisiting a year-1 UEFN project

  • Mem calc now takes 5 mins to complete, used to be instant
  • DBNO device now works, didn’t used to work
  • Fade controls within sequences are broken now, noticed on a case where I used the flat transition keys (square) within the sequence
  • Can now assign devices to work inside sequences, couldn’t before. However, I crashed UEFN the first time I did it (second time + worked)
  • Lighting was not affected since I had Ch4 lighting setup
  • Previously non uniform textures caused validation issues, so I conformed the texture and now they all look blurry within game (they were 1920x1080).
