Not Yet: Unused Assets Filter

This plugin adds one simple feature, it adds a filter to the content browser so that is shows unused assets, it is that simple!

Other solutions for this problem include complicated user interfaces, migrating project or running some complicated scripts. This approach integrates it into the familiar Content Browser where you can order, search, add other filters, sort, drag and drop as you usually do.

Select the filter in the Content Browser: Filters -> Other Filters -> Unused Assets

We just released a bug fix update 1.0.1:

  • Fix counting reference to self as a valid reference

Some assets were not appearing with the filter enabled because they had a reference to themselves, these were false negatives. So expect more assets to appear with the filter enabled.

In Version 1.1 the Used Assets filter was added, this is the opposite of the Unused assets filter.
