Hello, I am trying to connect to Unreal Engine’s source code on Github with these instructions: https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/ue-on-github but am stuck on the last step. It’s been an hour and I haven’t received an email from Epic to connect- I made sure my email for both Github and Epic Games is verified. Any advice on how to address this?
Hey there @VivianMYoung! Welcome to the community! So this is likely one of a rarer issues that happens where the backend doesn’t send the invite automatically. Head over to your Epic account settings, under apps and accounts, and remove Github’s link, then follow the instructions again and then check your spam folder. If that doesn’t work out, let me know!
hello,I have encountered a similar problem. I did not receive an invitation email after connecting to the account. After attempting to dissociate and retry, no new email was received.
I tried again and received the invitation email. All operations in this attempt were based on the Edge browser under the Win11 platform and used a proxy network. The previous failed operations were performed on FireFox and Chromium browsers based on Ubuntu 18.04. Perhaps the failure was caused by the operating system, browser environment, or network proxy environment
