Hello I’m interested in the unreal engine but I’m having trouble downloading it. when i go to download it, it says that the launcher is running and must be closed, anyone else have this problem?
The Download link from the unrealengine.com website actually downloads the Epic Games launcher. (and the launcher is used to download the engine).
It sounds like you already have the launcher installed and running (perhaps for Fortnite?)
If you do already have the Epic Games launcher installed, then go to the “Unreal Engine” page and download from there.
If you don’t know if you already have it installed, check your Windows Task Manager and check to see if EpicGamesLauncher.exe is already running. End the process and try again.
