Anyone start having troubles aligning two sides of an object after the software update? I import photos, hit align, and the photos from each side align successfully, but I’m left with each side like next to the other versus coming together into a single object. Didn’t have this problem before the software update around the beginning of Oct 2022. Is there some setting I need to change? Help!
Hi Ethan, there weren’t any changes in the alignment process in the last update (there were some minor changes regarding to the hard-expiration date).
This mostly depends on the way how the object is captured and the overlap between object’s parts.
Are you using masks in your process (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxsdbzBwWLE&t=25s)?
Also in this case is a agood way to use control point for merging parts.
