I really have no clue how the Epic Games Launcher can get worse with each update… Respect for this achievement…
Right now, I cannot install the Fab and Quixel Bridget Plugin to any Engine.
No Error, no warning, no Notification.. it simply does nothing when selecting Install.
Note here: Both Plugins even were also not installed with the UE5.8 Engine, which normally should happen automatically.

Tries to fix it:
Reinstall the whole Launcher, including deleting the whole Intermediate, Caches and AppData Folders of Epic Games and EpicGamesLauncher (and doing a restart afterwards).
Fix with the renaming of the manifest from the item file does not work - since there is no manifest file for Fab UE Plugin or Quixel bridge in my .egstore folder..
What would be an easy Fix?
If Epic arrives in the year 2026 and finally allows us to download plugins as ZIP-files from Fab directly, instead of using their crappy launcher, that is a Bug fest for over a decade now!!!
