Not able to add metahumans

I try to add metahumans and it does not work. I will download it and then use the built-in Quixel bridge press the button to add it and the first time I try, it does something and then it wants me to enable some stuff, and once I’ve done that, I press add again but this time nothing happens. Any ideas on how to fix it?

I encountered that too (the add button silently fails to do anything), but noticed that my project name was over the recommended/required 20 characters. After renaming the project I was able to add the MH to it. I can’t be sure if the renaming was the “fix”, or it it was some other problem that closing/re-opening the project resolved, but it might be worth trying this if you’re still seeing it.

Same problem Add button is doing nothing here. My project file name is at least under 20 characters so that cant be the problem.

i know that its late and u arent gonna reply but if you close and reopen bridge it works for me or just reopen everything

I am facing this issue for a while, closing and re-opening any no of times isnt resolving the issue. Add on meta human does some process, I can read the trace inside UE5 as well. After that I cant see metahuman in the UE5 , however there is a folder and blueprint added for the model in UE that I can edit. not sure why model is invisible.

I have found a work around the issue, un UE 5.2.1. If the metahuman does not appear automatically after clicking add from the Quixel, just open the content browser below, you can notice there is a folder by the name of the metahuman you have just added. Click on the folder and click&drag the metahuman into the level. Thats it, your metahuman will be loaded to the level editor. You can start editing. Happy ending.

I found a Solution, if the add button doesn’t do anything. Just first download and import any other asset from bridge ( works with built-in UE) and after importing the asset. Then click on add button for Metahuman. This works for me!
