Hello,
When I set a clipping box, and then render an image,
the image doesn’t respect the clipped region. (not WYSIWYG)
Instead it shows the stuff you wanted to hide in the first place.
eg a problem with narrow streets in a city where you want to show buildings on one side of the street.
I can work around it by changing the reconstruction region and calculate a new model,
but that takes a lot of extra time & diskspace.
I assume this is not the way to do it ?
Hi Wim Willems
do not reconstruct again
Set the bounding box to the area you need and use the FILTERING tool to filter out what you do not need. You can even create multiple cut-out models…
Hello,
I tried to do that, but with the render function I still see some stuff which was filtered out.
I used the filter to hide one side of a street, to have a better front view on the other side.
The only way now seems to be to reset the reconstruction region and to recalculate the model.
Hi Wim Willems
You do NOT need to recalculate the model, use the FILTERING tool and filter out what you do not need, and get models that can be rendered properly out, so you do not need to recalculate the model…
