I’m testing a small AI-assisted prop pack for exploration scenes: a teal-and-ivory field station with a rotor, panel, control box and collection vessel. The full station has five separable meshes and 5,864 triangles.
The image shows the supplied station GLB imported into Unreal Engine 5.8.2. The pack includes Blender and GLB data; it is a static decorative prop, without weather simulation, animation or authored collision. The studio lights and floor are only for the preview.
The complete control box is free here: Northwind Field Station by MikaelHa . Choose the free control-box download on the page. The other four parts and assembled station are in the $3 full pack. The screenshot shows the full station, not the free sample.
For the tested Unreal route I used stock Interchange Import Into Level, kept the meshes separate and used dynamic lighting. Set the placed components to Movable and then NoCollision; disabling collision generation alone did not set that component profile. Import converted metres to centimetres, so no manual 100x scale was needed. Native checks covered the assembly and separate control box and rotor; other Unreal versions and the other three standalone imports remain untested.
The geometry, palette, construction code and this post were developed with AI assistance. No stock model or outside texture was used. The asset licence permits use in commercial projects; the optional Blender generator has separate GPL terms.
For anyone who tries the free control box: do the supplied origin and material slots work for placement in your scene, or is there a specific import detail you need changed?
