Normalmap Makes Black parts

Per your provided screenshot, this issue has multiple causes. Let’s check possible methods for resolution:

  • Please make sure the issue is isolated to your normal map, by removing it from your asset, and checking for any other black/shadowy areas

  • Re-bake your normal map using weigthed normals, and make sure they are all front facing

  • If the issue persists, test disabling ray tracing shadow, either from project settings, or using the following commands:
    *r.Raytracing.Shadows.EnableTwoSidedGeometry 0 *
    r.RayTracing.Nanite.Mode 1
