The big thing I have been waiting for since 2019 is the ability to create actual campaigns in Fortnite, with levels connected to each other so we don’t have to worry about memory, and worlds that are expansive and different, with the player being able to travel in between freely, without their progress lost. I was mainly looking for these features in Creative, but they never came (with the exception of persistence).
Hopefully, this time around campaigns can be a thing, and we can expand upon the existing 1-island format that current Creative/UEFN support. Something like:
-Game settings can be contained in a special variable, similar to UE5:
-There is a device that allows the player to go to a different level within a project (similar to UE5)
-Player inventory transfers through when players moves levels.
-Switches’ persistence accounts when player travels levels and it saves when needed.
-Memory counts per level, not per project and engine only loads what that level contains
-Devices can be promoted to “master” and that will make them work regardless of the level loaded (for game mechanics)
