Normal maps become a flat color when imported

Apologies if im posting this in the wrong chat, i am having this REALLLYYY weird bug in my game where every time i import in a normal map (from substance)

it becomes a pure flat purple texture when in the editor.

When I restart my computer and start up unreal again, th normals will show.
But once I re-import a new normal map to replace the old one, it turns flat purple again.

This is very troublesome especially when I’m still in the midst of tweaking my textures.

I have no idea whats causing this and any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Though, if using a default unreal scene, the texture works perfectly.

The normal map in your screenshot has the “virtual streamed” method implemented. Please test changing the setting in your project to disable streaming, then try to import your textures once again.

If the issue persists after this, please send a screenshot of your current import settings, when adding maps to your project.
