For whatever reason, one particular normal map is refusing to tile when used on a material. replacing it with another normal map works fine but this one only tiles once and then stops. You can see it on assets and on the material ball, only half the ball will have the normal map and the other half will be smooth.
why would one particular normal map cause this issue? replacing it with a working normal map and then changing the source and reimporting to the problematic normal map still creates the same issue.
