Demo: non-solar by CheapLaptopGames (itch.io)
This marks my initial post about my forthcoming survival horror game, entirely crafted through blueprints. The project commenced as a personal endeavor to grasp blueprint scripting skills but evolved into a comprehensive game development. Leveraging the fps starter kit as a foundation and incorporating budget-friendly assets from the marketplace, I began exploring various concepts from tutorials to ascertain the extent of my capabilities. Following numerous trials and errors, the project gradually coalesced into a playable package, and I am pleased to announce the release of the demo.
Story:
Embark on an otherworldly expedition to the darkest known exoplanet in the universe.
After enduring several light-years in cryosleep, you awaken to the daunting task of collecting samples for analysis. The planet’s lighting conditions and physical laws differ drastically from what you are familiar with, creating an unsettling atmosphere. As you strive to execute your mission, attempting to recall the training simulations, you start questioning the boundary between reality and illusion. Your sole companion is the ship’s database, also serving as a rudimentary guide. Descending deeper into the planet’s core, you make a chilling discovery – the planet may not be as uninhabited as initially believed.
