Non-skeletal animations?

I’m working on indie game(as a hobbie) its kind of RTS from first person. What i need is base buidling animation(like in classics of RTS: C&C,Red alert and so). Those animations are very easy to do in any 3d editor,but i dont understand the workflow of that kind of animations in Unreal Engine. Can you explain? Any ideas/experience?
