Non-renewing annual subscription

Hi, I want to buy a commercial seat-based license for UE5, and for technical reasons I need it not to renew automatically at the end of the year. In the purchase dialog there is no option to toggle automatic renewal.

Is this something that can be turned off after purchase? Can I cancel the subscription immediately after paying and get the same effect? (access till end of year and then it stops?) Can someone from sales facilitate this?

Thanks ahead to any helpers.

Hey there @OriH33121! Welcome back to the community! This is a great question! Have you submitted a contact sheet for the licensing team? This form is an inquiry for custom licensing, though the team behind it would have more knowledge about the licensing terms altogether.

Hi, I contacted the licensing team, who got back to me but seemed to have lost interest in replying once they realized I’m not talking about a 100K$+ subscription, which is not the best experience. Can I not expect basic support for the software if I don’t buy enough seats? I may be reading the situation wrongly, but this is how it looks from my perspective.

I still don’t have an answer regarding a non-renewing subscription. Is there any other way to get an answer?

Sorry to hear you lost contact with the licensing team. I hadn’t found any information on the matter directly. I’ll try to reach out and get some clarification, though those on the other side of the subscription may not have had to come in contact with this specific mechanic since most seat based users tend to apply immediately.

Thank you. Hope to hear more.
