I actually hate this new lay out, I cant find anything. I feel like everything has been thrown in a big pile on one page that you have to fish through. I would say its just me but reddit agrees. Replacing something functional with something that looks sleek but doesn’t work is a nightmare. Please make FAB more navigational. I cant even find packs when searching exact name. I don’t even want to use assets now just because its such a hassle.
There’s some things I like about it. But just so many oversights.
- No wishlists.
- No quick on sale or new releases pages.
- No comments section.
- No questions section.
It follows what has been a trend unfortunately over the past couple years. Reduced access to useful information. You see the same thing in the UE sites documentation, which is useless for looking up simple things like what .h file to include, or for reporting bugs in any meaningful way.
I find it really difficult to wade through the new marketplace. I’ve gone from checking daily, checking my wishlists for sales every few days, to just not bothering. It’s too much effort to get the information I need. I’ve resorted to using ChatGPT for documentation, because the official documentation is largely useless for anything other than an overview of systems. That was not always the case.

Totally agree, with Quixel packs everything was together. Now it’s just a big pile, you can sort by Quixel. Select one mesh or a material then when you go back to look for more it jumps you to the top of the page. So you have to scroll down to where you were then continue to hope to find like meshes or materials. This is madness! Try to find all the Iceland materials, in half an hour, I’ll wait… Or perhaps all of a specific forest, good luck. If you are looking for, lets say a truck. You are presented with a big gallery, I’m fine with that. But you click on one and it’s not the correct quality or style, so you go back, once again it pops you to the top of the page. That’s going to get old real fast.
