I’m sorry for posting in two categories but i need urgent help with this matter. I follow all the steps of configuring the dmx library,i have all the plug ins enable and the artnet in the dmx project settings perfectly configured to communicate with the source ip and target ip setup. the dmx monitor outputs shows data flowing but nothing happens with the network, the artnet network interface is a PKnight ArtnetNode 1 and i check with QLC+ and it is working, making a tcpdump i see UDP activity from port 6454 and a little light turns on, but when i try doing with UE, nothing happens as if the port wasn’t being open by the software. I tried cheking for some permission problem but it doesn’t appear anywhere in the project logs. also I disable ufw but still nothing. I appreciate very much any help i can get with this issue please, thank you r.y
wow, I finally found the problem!. It was a port universe mismatch!. sometimes you think that the port 1 is really port 0 but sometimes is not!, so when i increase it to 1 on the interface i had satisfaction! so if anyone ever goes through this remember that by default 1 is 1, not 0 at the network interface end, cheers!, r.y
