Hi guys, I`m a new user of Unreal engine and not so familiar with ways of update unreal engine.
I downloaded unreal 5.03 from epic games launcher previously and now would like to update it to 5.1 version. but there is no update button on unreal tab.
Do I need to download whole new unreal 5.1 and uninstall 5.03?
There’s never an update path, unless it’s going through a minor version change.

Yeah, there’s not going to be an “Update” option as this is a full version change.
A good rule of thumb is when the tenths place digit changes, it’s an uninstall/new install scenario.
And when the hundredths/thousandths(rarely) changes, it’s an update to your current installation.
