No "Universal Windows Platform development" workload in current Visual Studio installer

Looking at the instructions here to install Visual Studio 2022:

It says to install various workloads, including Universal Windows Platform development. However, with the current VS Community 2022 installer (v17.10.3), this workload doesn’t seem to be available.

Has this workload been renamed? Is the “Community” version of VS 2022 not good enough for building UE 5.3? Anyone else run into this and have a solution?

Good day!

I believe it is called now “Windows Application Development”

Have a good day!

I came across the same issue in VS 2022 17.10.5 Community. Along with the Windows application development workload, I also found Windows Universal Platform Tools under the Windows application development options in the Installation details. Not sure if I needed them, but I went ahead and installed them anyway.
