No UE 5.4 version is compileable from Source!

Hi,

I try to get UE 5.4 running from source and running into some bug issues. I downloaded the 5.4.0 and 5.4.1 zip releases, cloned the release and 5.4 branch and all return several ‘Code not reachable’ compile errors.

For Example:

|Fehler|C4702|Unerreichbarer Code|UE5|J:\UE5.4.0\Engine\Source\Runtime\Core\Public\Templates\SharedPointer.h|1092|||

I cloned the Main branch which compiles and starts but it’s not compatible with all plugins I use.
Whats going on with this latest UE 5 release and how do I get it running?

With some tricks we got it working but can’t compile a game as the Engine still has issues:
