When I place a character behind glass, all of the shadow detail is lost. The skin is bleached white, the only dark areas are the hair and eyes.
I only have 1 sky light source and have tried rebuilding light levels, adding a different sky light source with HDRI, none of it makes a difference. From some angles the shadowing is perfect. In the lightened areas where there’s a white reflection, the shadow detail behind the glass is lost.
Any tips to help fix this would be greatly appreciated!
