So is there no way to render out a pass for reflections, refractions, GI or Diffuse in UE5? Non of them are included in UE5 supported passes. I needing to bring in to do a beauty composite into Nuke. I typically us VRAY for multipass rendering, so maybe I looking for something under another name? I see some of what I’m looking for under lighting components, but no idea how to get that into a pass. Any ideas on work around?
Hello!
You can use render passes to get Reflection and Diffusion (Called also: “Base Color” or just “Color”), although I cannot find information about Refraction and GI.
Here is some documentation about it that you can look:
I hope it helps you!
Im having the same problem, do you find any solution for this? thanks
What about Roughness, Metallic, Transparency, and Opacity maps. I don’t know where those are in Movie Render Queue.
There is currently no way to get Arnold/Vray style rendering information out of the Deferred Renderer. One day you’ll be able to get that from Pathrtacer.
You can get lighting, spec, diffuse, etc… but you won’t be able to “rebuild” your frame to match what you get out of MRQ. That sort of information is just not available once MRQ gets to it.
