I was following the help file on creating my first game a first person shooter, I got as far as getting to add the props, but unlike the help file in the program there was no props file, I swear I did not mod or delete any of the files after the install. So could a mod please link me to the props folder, XD
Do you have a starter content folder? -> otherwise create a new project - enable “use starter content” - copy the entire folder into the new project
I don’t think so… No it just came with the restricted access folder like every other person got. But I got all the other folders in my main directory.
Can’t you just add it in, in 4.7?
But I already have the latest version that came out today version 4.7 after my friend told me about this awesome product.
Besides is it too much trouble to just link me to a .zip file and tell me where to extract it to?
Unless I overlooked the ui and didn’t know if props was a icon or a drop down list menu tree item. Could someone please post a screenshot of the user interface with a red circle around where that feature is and update the help file as it was very misleading.
Sorry, my answer was a bit bare-bones, wasn’t it? It was actually directed at .
Just start another project, including the Starter Content, (which is the third square, just under the Project name). Call it “TempProject”
(Check Tesla Dev’s YouTube channel to see him start a new project: ?v=F6uexi3XXEM if this is the bit that is confusing you.
Then, close The project, and navigate to the windows directory where the TempProject is. (The parent directory will be called “4.7”) Then look for a directory called StarterPack (or something similar in your new project, and just copy it into your other project).
When you next open the Epic Launcher, 4.7 will see the new content, and integrate it into the project.
Don’t forget to Remove TempProject after you have done this.
i dont mean to be negative but i got the update for the program today and saw no sign of this alledged feature of which you speek could you provide a screenshot with a red circle on the interface around this section to help me find it? XD

This is the Unreal Engine documentation page. The first image is the one I mean. The Starter content has the number two next to it.
Oops sorry forgot that i was using unreal tournament and had to install the unreal engine program’s engine, now it shows the props folder, sorry for the hassle.
