NO More AI !!! Content Please

There needs to be some serious filtering and punishment for publishing content, that is obviously generated with stable diffusion AI and not marking it as such. I personally and probably many others, I do not want to support or be affiliated in any way with AI generated content. But since it clearly exists in this store and is not labeled or guaranteed to be labeled as such, I won’t be able to buy anything without having the risk of it being created with AI to some degree.
This becomes a real problem when releasing a game on steam, where you need to declare any AI content and from where the data sets are.

This needs to be solved with AI detection tools and bans and fines breaking the rules of uploading AI content, without labeling it as such.
It also needs clear filtering options.
If this isssue is not adressed it will degrade the value and legitimacy of all content on the marketplace.

For real. This slop has ruined the store…among other things.

It would also invalidate anything you created with it for some platforms like Steam

Steam last I checked doesn’t accept AI generated content as the ownership/licensing is at best questionable.

IMO AI generated content simply shouldn’t be permitted for sale ANYWHERE but especially not a platform that is supposedly provided tools and content for use in media that will again be licensed further.

This is a huge issue that until there is some reliable and assured solution against means nothing on the store (in terms of models, images, etc.) can really be trusted at least that is how we feel.

I wonder about A.I content and the Metaverse.

Epic Games launches Fab unified digital content marketplace | VentureBeat

It says " …it’s now live. You can probably think of it as the necessary foundation for a metaverse, should Epic Games ever really want to build it."

From what I understand, the Metaverse, being “real life” in digital, is going to be red hot on copyright.
So another reason for companies to keep a close on on how it’s being used.
