Hi
I don’t have Lumen in view modes also in the “Show” tab. How can I enable it?
Using UE5, Lumen in enabled
It’s part of the show menu
Oops, and part of Modes
Do you have it switched on in the project settings?
I guess no, how do I switch it in the project settings?
Look for global illumination method.
Ah you mean to switch on the Lumen. Yes it is switch on. I thought I have to switch on something else to see Lumen in View Mode.
Nope, that’s all.
Is it because it’s a ray tracing project? ( I notice that showing up in your view modes, and not mine ).
I don’t think so, because it doesn’t appear when I turn off ray tracing, also I have other projects without ray tracing where there is no Lumen in View Mode and in Show tab. Even google didn’t help me.
Weird…
In your Lit Tab dropdown, the ‘Virtual Shadow Map’ item is missing as well. It does show up for me, even if I select the standard shadow map method. It should be active for new UE5 projects by default - I don’t have any migrated project to test.
No solution, but maybe it is helpful as a hint for problem determination.
Yes, that’s strange… Shadow method is set “virtual shadow maps”…
