Sorry for the spelling - I'll use a translator.
A very simple example describing the problem:
1. In Archicad, I create a model and save it in the "project.udatasmith" file.
2. In Twin Motion, I import the file "project.udatasmith" in "Keep hierarchy" mode.
3. In TM I save two views - one ("project ON") with the container of this model visible and the other hidden ("project OFF").
4. In the meantime, I create additional objects in Archicad and save them in the same "project.udatasmith" file.
5. In TM, I update the model from the "project.udatasmith" file. And as usual, a nasty surprise: the parent container "project" is hidden, and the child container with new objects (yellow) is visible. 😕
Why does the view with the "project" container hidden show these new objects (yellow) that are in the child container!?
I've been watching this issue for many TM releases and nothing is getting better.
Each time I have to manually check and possibly update the visibility of subcontainers in all saved views. If I have a lot of saved views, that means a lot of extra and tedious work.
Will this ever change in TM?
