No level stream option?

So, I have 2 levels in level window, and I have a level stream volume selected. Supposedly, when I right click a level in level window, there should be a “Streaming level” category in options, but there is not.

So, what is problem? Or is there a new way to add a level to a stream volume now?

Been awhile since I worked with streaming, but I think you have to make steaming levels sub-levels of your persistent level.

Well I do, I start with a level, and then import another, and it automatically becomes a sub-level of first one.

I’m having exact same problem. There used to be a level streaming option but it’s gone now. I think it may have been changed in 4.30 since I cannot find option on my 4.30 project but I can find it on demo 4.2x projects. I used to be able to find it in my projects but it’s gone now since (I’m guessing) 4.30.

Unless perhaps I have set some setting that disabled it on accident?

Maybe they moved it all into World Browser…

I don’t think we disabled anything…maybe they moved it, but I really can’t find it.

Thanks phron. I had already checked out Level Details page talked about, but when I tried it last night it wasn’t working. No matter what I did in that section, I could not get level streaming volume to associate with any level.

I found part concerning command-line parameter interesting though, so I thought i’d use that to get back to old menu. Well old menu didn’t come back. But now Level Details page is working correctly and I am able to add streaming levels again. Odd. Not sure if it was command-line or if they worked out some kinks overnight. But hey, it works now, so I can’t complain if nothing’s broken.

noatom, if you haven’t stumbled across it yet, you can reach levels details page through little magnifying glass with a ? inside icon at top left of levels window. From there you can select streaming volume you want to associate with level.
